Everyone's generosity

I know we have unintentionally skipped some "thank-you's" in all the donations that are being made. I wanted to let everyone know how much we appreciate you and thank you is just not enough. Your prayers have been felt and your donations to our grant accounts have been a testimony to God's faith and love. No words can truly express how much this means to us and especially to our sons.

We have travel plans!!!

It is official! We leave on the 24th or 25th and Gotcha Day x2 is on August 28th, We return home on Sept 8th, after our CA on Sept 6th

So nervous! Still praying for the orphanage donations to be ready to go by then. Please keep praying and passing our link to those who may feel led to help us out. Any amount is so helpful!

Trying to confirm our Consulate Appointment

Well, some of you heard of our crazy week. We had TA(travel approval) and tried to schedule our Consulate Appointment, leaving Shreveport on August 17th. It did NOT work out! First, the consulate never confirmed our appt that the agency requested(a week ago), then DHL LOST our adoption paperwork that is suppose to go to China with us. Yes, they lost our official travel approvals! Then, I tried to book flights, which got all screwed up and they couldn't get us straightened out in time, without paying over $2400 a ticket. We just cannot pay that much!

DHL finally found our package, but not before I lost my religion trying to convince them it did NOT come to our house! Then, our agency called and said we would try for travel on August 24th, gotcha day the 27th, and Consulate appt on Sept 6. So now we wait some more to see if it gets confirmed. In the meantime, we look for flights or a really good donkey who is not afraid of water...because, we ARE going to get our boys home! So, get behind me, SATAN!
Please continue to pray for our funds...guess it was a good thing CA didn't get confirmed:-) God is smarter than we are!

WE HAVE TA FOR TWO!!!!!!

Words cannot describe how thrilled and thankful we are to say we now have TA for both boys. We are waiting for our travel arrangements but looks like it could be around the 20th. Please continue to pray as we work out the finances and travel plans!

Boys' room pics!

We have been working on Chris and Alex's room. All the furniture was pieces we had or donated to us. The Little Tikes beds were donated to us by my friend Carmen, very generous! We are so excited to be getting closer to bringing home our boys!

My friend, Karen W. here in Louisiana, painted the dresser drawers in a jungle theme for me! She is so artsy-craftsy, unlike myself;-)

Praising God...day 13!!!

We have received another contribution to Chris and Alex's adoption by the ABBA fund. This incredible blessing leaves us with only needing the funds for the orphanage donation of $6000. We are so blessed and cannot imagine asking God for another thing! We are only days away from travel approval now and we know He will provide the remaining funds.
