UPDATE

We have been home one week now! I haven't posted to this blog since it gave me so much trouble in China. It would have been difficult to update anyway. Having two boys is quite the challenge and Alex has had extreme difficulties adjusting.
This has been a better last couple of days and we pray things continue to improve for him. Chris has done very well, only throwing the usual tantrums of a two year old.

We continue to ask for prayers that Alex will make a happy adjustment to his new home and family. He is very delayed in many areas and we are doing all we can to help him progress. He has made some great improvements this week, such as waving "bye-bye", blowing kisses, saying "no-no-no"(don't know where he heard that;-) and his favorite word is DADDY..he loves his daddy very much!

gotcha day

we meet our boys for the first time at 2:30 today, which is about 9 hours from now. No sleeping here last night! I am having trouble with blogger but will try to update it. You may have to use our Babyjellybeans site to follow.

We are in China

We arrived at 12:00 am on Saturday. Today we have just rested and walked Shamian Island. We have some great photos to post but blogger is not letting me do much for some reason.

Madeline is truly an attraction here. Not sure why. Maybe the bright blue round eyes, but she gets tons of stares and people pointing and whispering. She decided she wanted to go back to the room because she felt like a "freak show" :-)

I will try to post photos and keep the site up if it will cooperate.

We leave for the airport at 4:30 a.m. and the flight leaves at 6:35. You can follow this blog for updates! Please keep us in your prayers...this has been a bumpy ride!

Update totals from KKAM and paypal!

We now have $659.20 in KKAM and $1060 in paypal. That still leaves us needing $3741 by Thursday! YIKES!! Talk about living on the edge! Edge of faith, I like to say:-)
